SAGEVIEW CONSULTING PROUDLY PARTNERS WITH NETWORK OF JEWISH HUMAN SERVICE AGENCIES (NJHSA) AT NATIONAL CONFERENCE
New York, NY – Sageview Consulting prides itself on understanding the non-profit industry and what makes social service organizations tick when it comes to hiring and human resources practices.
Sageview’s partnership with the Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies (NJHSA) is a perfect example of this commitment. Sageview recently got an inside view of the 140 agencies that comprise the NJHSA at its recent national conference in Chicago.
“We believe it’s important to stay on top of industry practices to help these agencies better understand and deal with the HR challenges they face on a day-to-day basis,” said Aimee Kaye, President and CEO of Sageview Consulting. “This is particularly important for the human services sector, which is extremely complex when it comes to best practices and protocols.”
Launched only a year ago, NJHSA is an umbrella organization formed to define resources that meet the needs of the membership agencies, which stretch from the U.S. to Canada and Israel.
Earlier this year, the organization and Sageview reached a partnership agreement that made Sageview the organization’s recommended vendor for both executive search and HR solutions.
The Network, in turn, provides Sageview with marketing exposure and speaking opportunities as well as referrals to members when there is a position to fill or a solution to be outsourced.
“Attending the conference gave us a great opportunity to network with the members of NJHSA,” says Kaye, “and to continue to provide value to our partnership with this organization.”
In three days, the conference convened five plenary and 31 breakout sessions, in support of what the Network called its “four pillars”, advocacy, collaboration, innovation and best practices. The overall theme of the event was, “Unifying Our Human Service Voice.”
The keynoter was David Axelrod, formerly Senior Advisor to President Obama and currently Director, University of Chicago Institute of Politics, and a frequent commentator on TV news. In a fireside chat format, Axelrod discussed how today’s politics affect the human services sector.
Kaye explained how Sageview’s understanding clients’ operations and staffing needs flows through to helping them better serve their constituencies.
“Sageview works with many Jewish non-profits and social service agencies,” she said. “We believe in their mission and believe that by searching for the best talent to join their organizations, we are ultimately making a difference in peoples’ lives.
“We look forward to strengthening our partnership with the NJHSA and its member agencies,” Kaye added.
