Maureen DiNafo is the Vice President of Benefits & Defined Retirement Plans at Sageview Consulting, where she leverages extensive expertise to help clients implement cost-effective benefits and retirement programs that attract and retain top talent while reducing organizational costs. Maureen specializes in employee benefits administration, retirement plan consulting, and pension plan integration, particularly following mergers and acquisitions. She works closely with leading insurance brokers to evaluate and recommend the most effective options for clients, ensuring that benefit programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals.
Since joining Sageview, Maureen considers her greatest accomplishment to be implementing and managing numerous retirement and executive deferred compensation plans across multiple clients. She ensures plan compliance with existing and new IRS regulations and leads annual audits and tax filings to maintain adherence to legal requirements. Her work has directly contributed to the smooth administration of benefit programs for a wide variety of clients, including the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County, Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center, Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services, Jewish Association for Residential Care, Donna Klein Jewish Academy, JFS at Home, Sinai Residences of Boca Raton, Covenant Foundation, We Are Family Foundation, Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, Sanitation Foundation, and Creative Edge.
Maureen’s strongest areas of expertise include benefits and retirement plan administration, plan design, compliance management, and consulting. She applies her technical proficiency in payroll and reporting systems to streamline processes and provide clients with accurate, actionable information. Her approach is grounded in integrity and professionalism, though she notes that one of the key lessons she has learned is that it is impossible to please all clients all of the time, a reality that reinforces the importance of clear communication and prioritization.
Prior to focusing on employee benefits, Maureen spent 16 years in the auditing department of a national accounting firm, where she developed a strong foundation in financial analysis and regulatory compliance. She attended the University of Delaware, bringing both financial acumen and HR expertise to her role at Sageview, ensuring that clients receive both strategic guidance and hands-on support for their benefits and retirement programs.
