Amy Hoffman is a highly versatile and respected Vice President of Talent Acquisition and HR Consulting at Sageview Consulting, bringing over 25 years of extensive experience in Search and Human Resources management across the private and non-profit sectors. Known for her ability to pivot seamlessly between different industries, work styles, and client needs, Amy has built a career on establishing deep trust and fostering strong, loyal relationships with clients of all sizes.
Her greatest accomplishment at Sageview has been this focus on relationship-building, which enables her to effectively act as a strategic partner. She excels at quickly immersing herself in a client’s culture to deliver both Strategy and Operations—from creating an HR presence for startup organizations and developing comprehensive Employee Handbooks, to resolving complex Employee Relations issues, and implementing processes for Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Succession Planning. Her strongest areas of HR are Employee Relations, compliance, and creating policies and procedures.
Amy's consulting experience spans a wide variety of industries, including sports (American Hockey League, National Lacrosse League), arts and culture (Superblue, Fotografiska), hospitality (Creative Edge Parties), and major non-profits (Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, WAFF, Classic Stage Company, Pardes, Sanitation Foundation). She views the growth of these relationships—where clients feel comfortable calling for advice beyond transactional work—as her favorite moments.
Prior to joining Sageview Consulting, Amy specialized in talent acquisition for companies ranging from Fortune 200 companies to major non-profits, successfully placing C-level and management professionals. She previously worked for organizations including Reuters, National Bank, Madison Square Garden, Rockland ARC and Global Research Consulting.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Fine Art. She is proficient with multiple PEO Platforms, including Justworks, Insperity, Gusto, and Paychex, in addition to Microsoft Office. She approaches consulting with the understanding that every client believes they are the sole focus, a lesson that underscores the importance of juggling diverse client demands, timelines, and cultures.
