Carin Maher | VP, Talent Acquisition

Carin Maher is the Vice President of Talent Acquisition at Sageview Consulting and an accomplished talent acquisition professional with over 25 years of experience in both corporate and non-profit sectors. Carin has successfully completed hundreds of C-level and senior management placements throughout her career, bringing a deep understanding of client organizations to identify and transition executive talent across a wide variety of industries. She also has expertise in succession planning, career counseling, and staffing consulting. Prior to joining Sageview, Carin served as a Talent Acquisition Executive with the Jewish Federation of North America for 11 years, leading executive searches across the U.S. and Canada, and was a principal in a consulting practice focusing on national recruitment, human resources, and staffing. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California.

At Sageview, Carin considers her greatest accomplishment to be the ability to combine her professional expertise with her passion for supporting Jewish communities. She is particularly proud that Sageview has never had to invoke its guarantee clause, reflecting the quality and precision of her executive placements. Her strongest area of HR lies in talent acquisition, where she applies her skills to sourcing, assessing, and placing top-tier leaders who align with organizational culture and mission.

Her client portfolio spans local, national, and international Jewish nonprofits, including synagogues, Federations, Jewish Community Centers, and advocacy and humanitarian organizations. Carin finds her most rewarding moments in seeing the leaders she has placed make a meaningful impact on the communities they serve, as well as when clients return for repeat business or express satisfaction with particularly challenging placements.
